BIOGRAPHY
A practice grounded in psychology and built one organization at a time.
Pierre-Marc Meunier holds a master's degree in human relations psychology from the Université de Sherbrooke, where he also taught courses in Psychology and Management. Co-founder of Consul-Source, he has practiced as an organizational psychologist for more than twenty-seven years.
Since 1979, he has worked across a wide range of organizations — training, coaching, and guiding leaders, managers and employees through change. He is particularly stimulated by paradoxical situations, and by finding the means for people to contribute to growth through their strengths.
He created the Leadership & Authority 3A® model in 1992 after a large organization asked him to deliver two hours of training on "applying discipline" — finding the managers devalued, demoralized and powerless, he set out to develop an approach that would address their real needs. Two years later, 120 people had completed six days of training, internal 3A coaches were in place to ensure sustainable change, and the originality of the model had struck a chord at the heart of the company.
He has authored six books and created two simulations used to train and equip managers in the exercise of their role of authority.
